GDPR policy concerning the obligation to provide information

(GDPR, Austrian Telecommunications Act [TKG] 2003). With this information about data protection, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing in connection with our website. When visiting our website, your IP address and the start and end of the session are recorded for the duration of that session. This is for technical reasons and thus constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Unless specified otherwise in the following, these data are not subjected to further processing by us.

Contacting us
If you contact us using the form on the website or by email, the data you provide are stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not disclose these data without your consent.

Our website uses what are known as “cookies”. They are small text files that are placed on your end device with the aid of the browser. They do not cause any damage. We use cookies in order to make our offering user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser at the time of your next visit. If you do not desire this, you can adjust your browser so that you are notified about the placement of cookies and allow this only in a given case. By deactivating cookies, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

Our website uses the features of a web-analysis service. In addition, cookies are used that make it possible to analyse the use of the website by its visitors. The information generated is transferred to the provider’s server and stored there. You can prevent this by adjusting your browser so that no cookies are stored. We have concluded a corresponding contract with the provider concerning data processing. Your IP address is recorded but immediately pseudonymised (e.g. through deletion of the last 8 bits). This means that only a rough localisation is possible. Data processing takes place on the basis of the statutory provisions in section 96 (3) TKE and in Article 6(1)(a) (consent) and/or (f) (legitimate interest) GDPR. Our legitimate interest within the meaning of the GDPR is improvement of our offering and our website.

Your rights
As a rule, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, withdrawal, and objection with respect to your personal data stored with us. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your claims under data protection law have otherwise been infringed, you can complain by sending us an email to office@vowa.at or by contacting the data protection authority.
